The company, meghna international being relatively new in the manufacturing and export business of musical instrument parts was formed in the year 1998. The proprietor of the concern mr. Partha pratim chowdhury himself having more than ten years experience in the manufacturing of these musical items initially started with the violin parts. In about two years time, the company started manufacturing parts for violas, cellos and double basses too. These parts are made of the best quality ebonywood, rosewood and boxwood that are available here in India.

The companys manufacturing unit is located in new barrackpur, just about 16 kms. To the North of kolkata. The company started with the exports of its parts in 2001 and today the company is exporting its entire production of violin, viola, cello and bass parts.

In this short span of time in the exports, the company today boasts of doing business with some reputed manufacturers of violins, violas, cellos in the us, Canada, UK, Hungary, Germany, Spain, Australia. This has been made possible only because the company has never compromised with the quality of the parts it is manufacturing. This has been the companys biggest achievement till date.
